Camp Christopher is an outdoor educational camp experience designed to teach students curriculum using the environment as the catalyst. Our sixth graders spend three days and two nights at the camp with camp coordinators and camp counselors.
During their stay, the students have the opportunity to interact with students of other schools in a variety of activities. In addition, they work with the coordinators learning and studying Math, Science, local history and art as the subjects relate to the environment. The students also spend a concentrated block of time learning team-building skills, problem-solving skills and critical thinking skills- the very skills that are needed to survive successfully as an adult.
