St. Mary School offers technology integrated into all subject areas at all levels from Kindergarten through 8th Grade. Our computer lab, adjacent to the Discovery Hall, has a color and black and white printer. For teacher and student convenience, additional printers are located throughout the school building.
Each classroom has Chromebooks for student use in Grades K-8. All Chromebooks have a filter program installed directly on the device for on-line security that follows the device wherever it is being used. Our students use G Suite for Education (Google Apps). The core G Suite of applications allow students to collaborate on documents and projects, seamlessly save them and allows access from any device with an internet connection.
Every classroom, including Preschool, is equipped with an Interactive Whiteboard that allows teachers to present lessons in an exciting way, engaging students in the learning process. Each room has been equipped with new Sound equipment. Teachers wear a pendant microphone that amplifies their voice to all parts of the room. This allows any hearing impaired students to easily hear teachers regardless of their location in the classroom.
